Homemade Almond Milk recipe

Homemade Almond Milk is so easy and better way of consuming rather than store brought as Homemade Almond Milk contains only almond and water 😀 . Usually used to have overnight oats using yogurt and i wanted to switch my diet to diary free so thought of including almond milk instead of yogurt in overnight oats, and to my surprise it also tasted good.I used store bought almond milk for a long time then just thought of trying to make at home which was really thick and creamy than store brought so from now on preparing almond milk at home and trust me it is so easy 😉 😉 and anything you prepare at home is fresh and tasty so why not you also prepare this vegan milk at home ???? This Homemade Almond Milk stays good for about 2-3 days in refrigerator.You can prepare this Vegan milk for chocolate almond shake or Vegan overnight oats.

Ingredients:

  • Almond-2 cups
  • Water-6 cups
  • Salt-pinch [optional]

Homemade Almond Milk recipe:

  • Soak almond in water overnight roughly such that almonds get soaked under water very well .Next day throw the water and add soaked almond on food processor

  • Add salt and fresh water to the soaked almond in food processor and grind to smooth texture.

  • Filter the milk from almond pulp and press the pulp well so that all the milk is extracted from it.

  • Don’t throw the almond pulp use it in dessert as almond flour or else freeze it for later use.

  • Almond milk stays good for about 3 days in refrigerator.

Note:

  • Use almond pulp in various dessert recipes or freeze it for later use.
  • Almond milk stays good in refrigerator for 3 days.And after few days milk smells bad then it denotes as it is spoiled so use it within 3 days in refrigerator.
  • Use almond milk in shakes or overnight oats.
