Soya chunk kabab (meal maker)

Soya chunk kabab is nutritious and tasty kabab recipe which would be perfect vegetarian starter or you can have this for breakfast too.This is healthy recipe where oats,besan powder is added instead of all purpose flour.When I don’t have meat in my home but if I feel like eating non vegetarian I usually cook mushroom or soya this really gives non veg flavor :p ;). Ingredients
  1. Soya chunk-2 cup
  2. Oil-1 tsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
  4. Green chili-2
  5. Roasted oats powder-1 cup
  6. Salt-to taste
  7. Red chili powder-2 tsp
  8. Garam masala-1 tsp
  9. Cumin powder-2 tsp
  10. Roasted besan powder-1/2 cup
  11. Onion-1
  12. Coriander leaf (Cilantro leaf)-as required
Instructions
  1. Boil the soya chunk with lid on for about 10 mins.Squeeze out the water from soya chunk well.
  2. Grind the dry soya chunk without adding water into coarse paste and not into fine paste.
  3. Add the coarse soya ,ginger garlic paste,roasted oats powder,green chili,salt,red chili powder,garam masala,cumin powder,roasted besan powder,onion,coriander leaf.
  4. Kneed everything together and take small portion out of it to make desired cutlet shape or any shape ;) .I used oval mold here.
  5. Heat a pan and shallow fry by adding oil ,soya chunk kabab (if you want crispy layer add more oil ;) )Cook for about 10 mins on one side and another 10 mins on another side
