Baked Beetroot Pakoda (Snack)

Baked Beetroot Pakoda is super delicious healthy snack which is prepared by combining rice flour,gram flour,cumin seeds,beetroot puree,butter,chili powder,water into dough which should not be so soft or too hard.Then by using muruku maker shape the dough and bake at 375 F for about 20 mins or until it turns crispy.This snack is healthy and would be a hit especially to the kids because of the color 😉 You can also check out Soya chunk kebab , Green beans fries , Healthy French fries , Baked Gulab jamun , Baked gobi manchurian , Sabudana Waffles

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot puree-3/4 cup
  • Melted butter-1/4 cup
  • Rice flour-1 and 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour-1/4 cup
  • Salt-pinch
  • Cumin seeds-1 tsp
  • Asafoetida-pinch
  • Chili powder-1 tsp
  • Water-1 tbsp or required for kneading

Baked Beetroot pakoda recipe:

  • Add rice flour,gram flour,salt,cumin seeds,chili powder,asafoetida,melted butter to the bowl.

  • Combine everything together and prepare dough which should not be too soft or hard.If needed add little water if it is too dry.

  • Preheat oven at 375 F .
  • Take a small portion and put inside muruku maker then press it on the baking plate covered with aluminium foil greased with oil.

  • Bake at 375 F for about 20 mins or until it becomes crispy and be careful not to get burnt.If it is soggy then bake for few more mins.Serve it hot as evening snack 🙂
