Salmon Fry | Meenu varuval |Fish Fry

Salmon Fry is very healthy recipe which is prepared by marinating overnight with spice mixture and shallow frying it in medium flame for about 20 mins to get delicious and healthy Salmon Fry. As salmon contains omega 3 fatty acids and health benefits I try to eat one piece of this fish during my lunch along with any salad by crumbling into pieces and removing bones from the flesh or just eat it alone by garnishing with lemon juice.

Ingredients
  1. Oil- 1 tbsp
  2. Salmon Fish - 2 large piece
  3. Chili powder- 3 tsp
  4. Coriander powder-2 tsp
  5. Garam masala - 1 and 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt-to taste
  7. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  8. Lemon juice- garnish
  9. Rice flour-2 tsp
  10. Corn flour 2 tsp
  11. water- required to combine the mixture
Instructions
  1. Clean the fish well using turmeric,salt and water.
  2. Mix chili powder,coriander,garam masala,turmeric powder,salt,water together in a plate.Now add the cleaned fish to the mentioned mixture.
  3. Now combine rice flour and corn flour together and sprinkle it all over the salmon to give crispy layer after shallow frying the fish.
  4. Marinate this overnight in refrigerator or if you dont have time then freeze it for about 15-30 mins.
  5. Heat pan by adding 1/2 tbsp of oil .Once hot add the fish and cook with lid on for about 10 mins.Then flip the fish to another side and cook with lid for another 10 mins by adding 1/2 tbsp of oil to the sides on medium flame. Check in between to make sure fish does not get burnt.
Notes
  1. Garnish the lemon juice on Salmon Fry and enjoy eating it.
  2. Add in any kind of salad by removing bones from the flesh and crumble into pieces.
