Healthy Chicken Kebab & Broccoli (Zero oil recipe)

Healthy Chicken Kebab & broccoli is Zero oil recipe where chicken, broccoli & for flavor ginger,garlic,spices are steamed.Steamed food helps me to reduce weight and eating steamed food made of my favorite meat helps me to forget that it is diet food 😉 😉 .My mom always ask me to eat broccoli as it is very good for health but i hate eating broccoli alone so I grind and then add to chicken or any recipe which make me feel that there is no broccoli in my dish 😉

Ingredients
  1. Chicken breast-1
  2. Onion-1
  3. Green chili-2
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Coriander leaf-1/4 cup
  6. turmeric powder-1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder-1 tsp
  8. Chili powder-3 tsp
  9. Coriander powder-2 tsp
  10. Garam masala- 1 and 1/2 tsp
  11. Chopped Ginger-2 tsp
  12. Chopped Garlic-2 tsp
  13. Curry leaf-5 (optional)
  14. Broccoli-1 bunch (optional)
  15. Whole Oats-1 tbsp (optional)
Instructions
  1. Wash and chop the chicken breast into small pieces.
  2. Add chopped chicken,ginger,garlic,green chili,salt,curry leaf,onion,coriander leaf in food processor.Grind everything to fine paste.
  3. Add chili,turmeric,coriander,garam masala powder,cumin,whole oats to ground chicken and mix it well.
  4. Blanche the broccoli for about 10 mins.Once cooled grind the broccoli as shown and then add to ground chicken.
  5. Make into desired shapes using any mold or using hand as shown below in detailed recipe with pictures.
  6. I used idly cooker for steaming.You can use any steamer to cook the chicken.Added water to the bottom of pressure cooker and about 1 tsp water to idly plate instead of oil.Then place the ground chicken to idly plate with water at bottom.Cook for about 15 mins with lid on.
  7. After 15 mins of steaming color of chicken changes to white which means it is cooked perfectly!

  1. Serve Steamed Chicken & broccoli with hot sauce or tomato ketchup
