Whey Shakes (low fat)

Whey Shakes can be prepared at home whenever i make paneer or cottage cheese usually i use the the liquid(whey) remaining after milk has been curdled and strained.With this left over whey you can use it in pasta recipes or preparing dough with this liquid and i prefer making banana or choco shakes and it turned out well so thought to share this recipe with you all.

Choco Whey Shake

Ingredients:

  •  Whey (is the liquid remaining after milk has been curdled and strained)- 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder-1 tsp
  • Sugar-1 tsp (optional)
  • Ice cubes- few (optional)

Recipe:

  • You can check out this link to extract whey from curdled milk
  • Let the whey cool and then refrigerate it for 1 hr or use ice cubes as it tastes good when you serve it chill.
  • Add cocoa powder,sugar and whey to the blender and blend it for 10 secs.

Banana Whey Shake

Ingredients:

  • Whey (is the liquid remaining after milk has been curdled and strained)- 1 cup
  • Banana -1
  • Ice cubes-as required (optional)

Recipe:

  • You can check out this link to extract whey from curdled milk.
  • Let the whey cool and then refrigerate it for 1 hr or use ice cubes as it tastes good when you serve it chill.
  • Add banana and whey into blender and blend it for 10 secs.You can see nice foam which tempts you to drink in single gulp.

Serving Suggestion :

  • Serve Whey Shakes as soon as you blend it or else it wont taste that good.Garnish with nuts and drink it.
