Oats Salad is vegan & weight loss recipe which is prepared by combining roasted oats,capsicum,pepper,onion,tomato,almond,coriander leaf and the secret to enhance its flavor & to burn FAT is “LEMON” and it takes just 10 mins to prepare so why not try this quick as well as healthy recipe !!! ..You can also add fruits like grapes or apple or lettuce to this Super healthy Vegan Oats Salad and for non veg version You can also add 1/2 cup chopped grilled chicken breast to this salad .
For this Diwali preparation itself i started eating those sweets and savory which was uncontrollable :p :p 😀 and obviously i had put on extra weight so Me and my husband thought to try simple diet because i can never really withstand GM diet its really difficult for me 🙁 🙁 but my husband follows GM diet when he wants to !!. Based on his suggestions I followed this simple diet + walking 2 miles daily and i am not nutritionist or dietitian just by practical experience on my body wanted to share this with you all 🙂 🙂 Will post a separate page on my blog on weight loss recipes soon…So my husband always tells me to include lemon in any form in his diet as it really aids in burning fat 🙂 so here is what i followed for 5 days–> Started to drink lemon+hot water+cinnamon powder in empty stomach and by 8 30 Overnight Oats or Oats upma for breakfast and by 11 30 am five almonds+1 dates (in between drank water filled with lemon+mint+ginger) by 1 pm mostly we prefer one bowl of Green moong dal (garnished with lemon+ cilantro)or Oats soup with chickpeas or Ragi Idly then by 4 pm we have 1/2 cup almondmilkshake+apple or Pomogranate then by night usually I have this oats salad or cucumber noodle salad for my dinner then 1 glass of [ Lemon+ginger+mint +water] walking daily for about 2 miles which really helped me to loose weight for about 3 kgs..
Serves : 2 Total time: 10 mins
- Oats- 1 and 1/2 cup
- Salt- to taste
- Onion- 1/2 cup
- Tomato- 1/2 cup
- Capsicum – 1 cup
- Pepper – 1 tsp
- Coriander leaf-1/2 cup
- Almond-1/4 cup
- Coconut Oil-1 tsp
Oats Salad recipe :
- Heat oil in pan and add capsicum of different color or you can use any capsicum of your choice.Saute for about 5 mins.Transfer to the big bowl.
- Roast whole Oats for about 5-8 mins until it changes to slight brown in color and transfer to the bowl.
- Add chopped onion,tomato,pepper,almond,coriander leaf, lemon to the oats and combine well.
- Serve this Oats Salad as soon as you prepare.
- You can also make non veg salad by adding 1/2 cup chopped chicken breast for single person.
- You can also add lettuce,apple,grapes,cranberry in smaller amount based on your choice.
