Soyabean fry is very nutritious recipe which is prepared by marinating the boiled soya chunk with ginger garlic paste,sambar powder,garam masala and lime and then sauteing with onion and tomato. Ingredients
  1. Soya chunk - 200 g
  2. Sambar powder- 3 tsp
  3. Garam masala-1 and 1/2 tsp
  4. Pepper powder- 2 tsp
  5. Salt-to taste
  6. Lime juice-2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  8. Onion-1
  9. Tomato-1
  10. Ginger garlic paste- 3 tsp
  11. Water- 2 cup
  12. Oil-1 tbsp
  13. Cumin seeds-2 tsp
Instructions
  1. Boil the soya chunk with lid on for about 10 mins.Squeeze out the water from soya chunk well.
  2. Then just cut boiled soya chunk into small pieces as shown.Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  3. Add 2 tsp Sambar powder , 1 tsp Garam masala , 2 tsp lime juice .Combine everything well and marinate for about 10-15 mins.
  4. Heat pan with 1 tbsp oil ,cumin seeds,onion and salt.Saute till onion gets cooked well.
  5. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute for about 3-4 mins until raw flavor disappears.Add chopped tomato,turmeric powder and cook till mushy.Then add the marinated soyachunk.
  6. Add pepper powder,required water,1 tsp sambar powder and 1/ tsp garam masala.
  7. Close the lid and cook for about 15 mins in medium flame.Open the lid and saute till water gets dried up.Garnish with coriander/cilantro leaf
